What Beer?

Kind of like asking your favorite song or movie.... too many choices.

Guinness is probably my #1 go to draft beer.

I really like IPA's - especially high gravity.
I am a huge fan of stouts and bock beers.
I will drink but do not love wheat beers.

Warsteiner, Becks and Peroni are always good.

Anything I can get in a growler or is on a hand pump tap, I am all in for.

(Moose is wrong, Samuel Smith's Nut Brown > Newcastle)

Favorite Movie ? Nah that's easy, "Where the Buffalo Roam" - Bill Murry as Dr.
Hunter S. Thompson :D

Hello to all! First post here amongst this fantastic "Becker Brotherhood"! So glad I found this forum. Will post pics of my Beckers soon...gettin' my 9'er squared away. I seem to have been waiting for the right moment to join in here, the question "What Beer" seemed to be it. Not sure if this post will count towards the "Beckerhead Quest"...no matter, anyway...personal beer (style) of choice...India. Pale. Ale., no question about it. That being said...I look forward to the future banter and antics with ya'll...Cheers!

Welcome to the Becker Forum, and Bladeforums. Glad you're here. Thanks for choosing us to be your first post.

I like knives.
And beer.

Moose

NewCastle Brown Ale. All others fall short of this lofty mark.

That's an opinion, but it will soon be FACT, as soon as I get done with the wiki page.

Moose

Eesh. I hate the fact that Moose and I share a favorite beer, I'm a fiend for New Castle.
Brooklyn Brown is pretty good too.

Stella Artois, or Peroni, or Red Stripe.....but if it's a day before payday and I've got ten bucks in my checking account, I won't turn down a Miller High Life. I love using my Becker Necker to pop the top on any of them!

No never got a chance to try that. Can you get it anywhere here in America that you know of?

If you fine a place let me know! I tried and tried. Apparently they are very picky who they sell to, USA being one of them..... Shame.

Wife and I stayed at hostles there for fun, one of them had a VB bar connected to it....good thing the room was cheap....dang tab cost me a good amount of sight seein'...;)

Anchor Steam.

and then there's the 40% stuff that will kill you.

Also Deschutes Black Butte Porter, Obsidian stout and Sam Adams.

And I find it hilarious that the BEER post is getting so much action, especially considering I was sitting drunk on the crapper when I posted it.

I mean bloody hell I didn't even have to put any pictures up. carry on.

Those of you in Oregon will appreciate this!

Rogue - Dead Guy Ale. I love this stuff. Don't drink it all the time, but it's a nice treat when I do.

I'm also a fan of Dogfish Head. I think I saw it mentioned in this thread before.

Usually though I just stick to local brews. There's tons here in BC. Lots of good stuff.

With dinner I've been known to drink Guinness.

Beer is great :)

Some of what I usually drink:

Bud Light
Landshark (what can I say, I'm a huge Buffett fan)
Yuengling
Killians Irish Red

I like beer, but don't try different stuff very often. Most of the time when I do try a new beer, it is something that a buddy has on hand or recommends.

I don't remember the name, but Moose will probably know: there is a little brewery in Pigeon Forge(next to a Calhoun's that sells their beer) that has some pretty good beer.

I have not drank enough different kinds to know varieties I like except that I don't like real dark beer or real bitter beer.

I'll keep an eye out up here and I'll let you know if I find it. Apparently there is a place by Seattle that sells all kindsa beer from all around the world.

Ya...I went back to the ship when it was time to crash. I still can't believe some of the places they took me :D
