Just received my very first Benchmade! It came a day early, which is awesome. The 940!
I've been looking for months, trying to decide which Benchmade I want. My brothers and cousin rave about them, and I recognize the quality. Still, the price forced me to make sure I would like what I was getting. Why don't I love any of Benchmade's ergonomics? I didn't get to hold the
Contego, but a lot of people complain about its ergos anyway. I ended up with the 940 (even though it's a bit shorter in blade and handle than I was hoping for) and I am impressed. The axis is really something to behold. My one brother said to just go with a Manix, but its lock shouldn't even be compared to my new 940's!
