What Benchmade do you have on the way?

BM 635, Mini Skirmish OTW. I'm super psyched.

A friend of mine got an 810 Contego recently. Gotta' have one, so I ordered it today.

Grabbed a lightly used 928 at a good price today. Looked like an amateur sharpened it on a belt grinder but still a lot of life left. Now it looks like an amateur sharpened it on a KME. It took a really nice edge. I'm surprised this knife isn't more popular. Great steel, no lock stick, very good fit and finish, good centering, really smooth action, really good flipper setup. If it wasn't for the G10 (which is growing on me) this example is the large Sebenza-like flipper so many want. It really seems very competitive against hinderer/strider as well, being most if not all they are for half or less of the cost.

One of these -a FIXED Bedlam- ...eventually.

Maybe this should be called what WAS on the way. In the mail today, what arrived is an old school (NIB) 710 in ATS-34, Some know how many of these I've owned, this is a keeper. Add to it, Benchmade via a quick call, said I could upgrade to a D2 blade if I wanted for $30. So there's not a thing to lose in the process. Here's the knife...

how is D2 blade compared to S30v?

i really love the design of this knife as it balances aesthetics with a strong look but dunno much about d2 steel.

now only if they made it around 3.5 inch it would be perfect edc
