What benchmade to buy?

I have 550 and 973, both are great knives, 550 being more rugged. When I chose between 973 and 710, it wasn't easy, but 710 is a bit long for EDC for me. I do like 973's blade profile more than 970, but it's personal choice.
I carry both knives 50/50, when expecting some heavy work with knife I take Grip, on other occasions - 973. The last is more stylish, and I like how it looks.
Both knives are great, both are AXIS, both are 154CM, both hold edge and open smooth.
If you have $$, go with 710 or 970 (973), if not - get Grip.

Benchmade HK 14205 is a pearler of a folder.

Solid as a rock, silky smooth opening and 0.15" thick 3.4" blade combined with slim profile make it perfect for EDC and use.

The extra blade weight enhances the deployment and this folder will last a couple of lifetimes!

550HG-Griptillian - Of the Griptillian line, I prefer the mini versions.
615- Mini Rukus - A little bulky, but the blade shape is pretty good.
710- A classic and my favorite knife design - by law, all people should be required to own one :).
740- dejavoo - Liner lock and I don't recomment liner-locks to anyone.
940 - I like the 941 and 942 blade shapes better, but a reasonable daily carry.

I'd say 710 or 615 - plain edge only - choose naked as I don't like the new coating BM seems to be using.
