What Books Are You Reading Right Now?

Just finished The Origins of Totalitarianism by Hannah Arendt, first published in 1951. A guide to innovations in government pioneered by Hitler and Stalin. What could go wrong ?

Now reading Expired: Covid the Untold Story by Dr Clare Craig.
12 things they got wrong explained. A much easier read than Hannah.

I just finished Nuclear War: A Scenario by Annie Jacobsen. Great book. It doesn't sugar coat anything.
If you have zero faith in the powers that be, you'll somehow have even less after reading it.

Right now I’m reading “The Revenant”by Michael Punke

“Extinction“ by Douglas Preston

I have been a little lazy lately but just started one by Tina Seelig called "Ingenius - a Crash Course on Creativity".There can´t be such thing as too much creativity for a knifemaker, right?

I'm re-reading the Lensman series by E.E. (Doc) Smith.
1930's Science Fiction. Dr. Smith (PhD in Chemical Engineering) was one of the founding fathers of the genre.

In between other books I've been reading "Directorate S" by Steve Coll. It's an eye opener to what went on in Afghanistan and Pakistan during the Bush and Obama years. A little hard to follow at times, a lot of players.

If you're into blades, you'll be interested in how the Honjo Masamune was used in Children of the Neon Bamboo
