What Brand Am I Missing For My EDC Rotation?

Okay, so I'm looking for my next knife and thought I'd like to expand my horizons a bit and branch out into a brand that I dont own. Currently I own folding knives from CRK, Strider, ZT, Spyderco and Benchmade and prefer a blade between 3" to 3.5". So, seeing what I own, I am open to suggestions on what brand I should try next?

I'm also open to model suggestions and as a point of reference, my favorite knives are my CRK small Sebenza, my Strider SnG CC and my Spyderco Sage 1.

Thoughts, suggestions?

Kershaw Blur
Buck Vantage
Ontario Rat-1

Smaller but worth a mention are:
Ontario Rat-2
ESEE/BRK Zancudo

And of course there are so many great models in the brands you already have:

Spyderco Endura, Paramilitary 2, Military, Manix, Gayle Bradley just for starters

The Spyderco Military is my GOAT favorite production EDC, but probably way too big if you're a Small Sebenza/SNG guy. Weighs only 4.2 oz. though...

Further I second a traditional slip-joint from GEC. Of course you must own some Victorinox and Opinel knives as well ;)

But if we're talking CRK- and Strider money, I must strongly recommend you to get on the list for the second run of Jake Hoback's Midtech Kawaiback. The books for the second run are still open. See his website. Just need to send him an email. I'm waiting for the first run. I cannot imagine that it's possible to buy a better folder for 425 USD.

Great suggestions so far. I really like the Brous and Hoback suggestions. Hinderer was of course on my list as well.

I'd never even considered an Ontario but it loos like they get great reviews along with the EESE.

Keep the responses coming.

Another vote for something Buck. Either something from their Vantage/Vantage Pro line or perhaps the new Marksman.

If you truly want to expand the horizons, consider adding a fixed blade to the EDC system. Here are a few Neckers from Bark River:

Great ideas guys. I like the idea of adding a fixed blade although neck carry wouldn't be my first choice. None the less, the Bark River blades look awesome.

They work great in horizontal belt carry (cross-draw) as well. Sometimes I even throw one in an inside jacket pocket.

The only knives I have in my collection are Spydercos, a Benchmade, an Opinel, and a Kershaw Skyline (at this moment). I can say I'm perfectly happy, as I've owned many a knife and this is what I've ended up with, and I'm still trying to downsize from that. To be honest, I'd be perfectly happy with only my Spydercos. I do like a good Microtech, but I foolishly sold my SF and regret that bigtime. The Socom Delta I got didn't come close to it so it got sold. Chris Reeve Knives and Striders just don't seem to have any value to me, and custom folders I'm worried I wouldn't use them. So I'd say base your collection off of what knives you like, not trying different brands. If you know what you like, stick with that. Otherwise, at least in my experience, it will soon be sold.
