What Brand Am I Missing For My EDC Rotation?

The Fantoni idea gets a +, and there is also LionSteel to look at. But I think you should take a look at Boker. I have an Arctos XL that is just excellent as an edc. The Boker Plus lineup is also great and full of collaborations with some big time names.

Also looks like you have a great lineup already!:)

  • Benchmade 940, 810
  • Spyderco Southard, Hungarian, Sage 2, Gayle Bradley
  • Fantoni HB01, HB02
  • LionSteel SR-1, SR-2, TiSpine
  • Curtiss F3
  • Olson Quick Flick
  • William Henry EDC E10, Atlas B12

Hogue, is worth mentioning imo.

Since you have a impeccable taste in EDC, and I'm saying this because I have the same taste, consider a Three Sisters Forge Beast. I also EDC a large sebenza, SnG and SMF. I've got the Hinderer, but for some reason, I don't carry it. As a matter of fact, I've got 4 that I don't use.

A GEC (traditional) has been mentioned, but it is worth repeating... the #42 Trader or trapper patterns are my favorite and fit your blade length specs. A slightly larger modern folder I'll suggest is the Microtech Socom Delta (or the elite)--I have the Delta, tanto-style blade, coated cpm-d2. I prefer uncoated, but none were to be had. I typically edc my stag handled #42 Missouri trapper (2 blades), but when I reach for a modern it is consistently the Delta.

Have you thought about a Hogue? Many choices between blade size/design/scale materials. I currently favor the EX04 with the 4" modified wharncliffe blade as my edc folder

Meh, talking about production I have to disagree. Not "missing" anything in my humble opinion. Very illogical and expensive folders: chisel grind for lefties; titanium liner-lock with opposite steel liner; very soft 154CM for sharpening in the field. Only to consider if you're going to be deployed in my humble opinion. (And even then I'd pick something else.)

Love/hate. Agree to disagree.

You might not like them ( and there is nothing wrong with that as there is a plethora of variety in the market) but to really decide if someone would like them they have to hold it and use it themselves.

It seems that our miles vary.

DPx HEST 2.0 or Milspec folder. Great knife for the price, nice set of features as well. Bottle opener works as reliably as the Emerson wave from my experience.

Guys, I've been pouring through the suggestions and there are lot of knives I'd have never even thought to look at.

As it stands now, I'm thinking about a fixed blade as it something (other than my hunting user CRK Nyala) that I don't have anything like.

So, Bark River or ESEE?

Second question, what size? It will be for camping, hiking, bushcraft, kayaking and some weekend EDC.
