Spyderco....:D

The only other knife that I have, that isn't a Spydie, is my Buck 110.

Started with lots of Spyderco
Then lots of Benchmade
Now several Microtechs
more Crawfords and Striders when I can afford them
Hmmm...noticing a $$$ trend here...

Right now I'm torn between CRKT and Kershaw.
I am starting to lean more to the Spyderco side
as my collection grows. :)
Marauder :D

Benchmades for folders;
Busses for fixed, though I do own almost full CRK 1 piece line.
Few striders too :)

Marble Arms (not Outdoors)

I love all of the older knives as well as the 1997 - 2001.5 products.

Marble's (Arms not Outdoors) are so damn traditional while still offering that bit of timeless kickass mixed in for good measure.:)

I guess if you call owning 22 Strider knive "Hook on". Some might even consider it an addiction:D

That has to be Buck . I have carried Buck blades for many years and they have always been my favorite. Hunting, fishing , Vietnam and ranch work. They stand behind their excellent product .

They are well-designed , durable and hold an edge.

I am not "hooked" on to any brand. I believe that no one company has a monopoly on excellence even though some companies have been rather consistent in producing quality knives.

For example, a few years back Microtech came out with the winning design LCC. Then Al Mar had its SERE 2000 and CRKT with its KFF.
Each seemed to have its turn at producing an excellent knife.

Spyderco has got its got a large slice of the cake as far as popularity and quality were concerned.

Other lesser known companies also have their limited time in the limelight. Other names like Emerson and Benchmade have had their "days in the sun".

They are still around, maybe not so mega successful like before but they are holding their own.

So, in the final analysis it depends on what these companies put on the market next week or next month. Knife buyers are generally quite discerning and maybe even a little fickle. Such are the fortunes of the knife industry.

I'm hooked on Benchmades, Axis locks to be precise. I really like the Axis lock design. It is strong, reliable and easy to disengage when I want to.

Benchmades..
I have a couple, a mini grip and a 940.
but the 556 mini grip, well I absolutely love everything about that knife.

It was Spyderco for the longest time and I still like them.
However, I bought my first Axis-lock Benchmade not too long ago (a 555 Mini-Griptilian) and I was very impressed.
I was so impressed that I saved up a little money and bought a Benchmade 722 Pardue Axis-lock (my first tanto style blade too).
Now I'm intrigued by other Benchmades.
