What brand has the best serrations?

Benchmade if we're talking production knives. I just don't like Spyderco.. I have a few, but I have many Benchmades.. And the serrations are very similar, I just think Benchmades are better made knives overall.. And they were started here in OREGON USA.. And still mostly made here, well used to be.. I haven't checked in a while.. Spydercos.. I don't know much about, but I mostly see JAPAN on those blades..

So almost identical serrations.. but home state origin.. hmmm I'll go with Benchmade!

The post above mine, made me realize, YES to Spyderco for fully serrated, as I don't think I can recall seeing a fully serrated BM.. But for COMBO.. BM all the way!

I only have 2 knives with partial serrations. A Cold Steel Voyager and a Kershaw Leek (S30V) and the Kershaw's serrations are by far the better for my money.

Another vote for Spyderco. The serrations just bite right into whatever I'm cutting. I've never had a hang up.

Benchmade is making everything with their name on it in Oregon now. Also Spyderco makes many of their knives in Golden Colorado. Not trying to be a smartass, just clearing things up since you sounded uncertain.

As far as serrations go I think I'll have to go with Spyderco. Although I've always thought the Microtech serrations looked cool.

Little late to the party but spyderco hands done. Worst serrations I've had were on a lone wolf D2. There was a compnay once that made serrations that were just angled lines cut into the plane edge part of the knife. I don't remember which company but you would sharpen the knife the same as a regular knife. I never tried these but its the most unique "serration" I've ever seen. Hands down best serrated knife I've ever owned is the spyderco massad ayoob. You would swear it was made by the spyderedge gods themselves. I cut a water bottle 3 times with that knife and the bottle only moved on the 3rd cut. The other two times the piece of the bottle fell and some water poured out. This in a sense would make this the sharpest knife I own as well.

Boy that water bottle sure must have p*ssed you off! :D

Another vote for Spyderco here. Al Mar is pretty similar. Lone Wold is outstanding, too. Cold Steel has fine serrations like the old "Ginsu" knives, but I wouldn't recommend them. I really don't like Kershaw serrations - overly rounded and easy to damage.

Easily Spyderco

That's pretty awesome. What exact model is that? How many inches is the blade? I was looking at the Pacific Serrated, and I think a 4 inch fully serrated knife would be very, very useful to have.

That's a Waved Endura 4 with a 3 3/4" blade

.
As has already been pointed out, Spyderco makes a lot of their knives in CO, and I believe that Benchmade uses the Spyderco serration.
