What brands did you discover through Bladeforums?

ESEE and Mora were the biggest ones. I knew of many others but these really opened my eyes. It also made me retire my CRKT.

Previous to BF, I only had eyes (and $) for Cold Steel.

Now:

RAT/ESEE, Benchmade, Spyderco, Kershaw, BUSSE, CRK, Hinderer ~ I need more $$ or a time machine. :D

Swamp rat, scrap yard, busse. I dont own a busse yet but i have a few of the other kins'. Just waiting for the right busse, and a big overtime check.

I came searching for Chris Reeves hollow handle one piece blades and discovered everything after that, this is a great site.

Rat Cutlery (now ESEE)
Bark River

I already had Buck, Gerber, Kershaw, Case, Leatherman, Swiss Army, Cold Steel, etc.

Initially Chris Reeve, then Busse. Both are great knife makers. Chris has a better presentation of their knife, i.e., knives sold with sheath, box and papers.

Cold Steel. If it wasn't for STR's American Lawman reviews I would'a pro'lly missed one of the best knife I've owned. Top, bottom, middle shelf... doesn't matter. This is one of the most solid knives I've owned. Second would be Emerson, but I'll never waste my $ on another. Third would be ESEE/RAT, which are great knives!
