What Buck are you carrying - right NOW?

Cabelas Alaskan Guide 110. That is one Buck that is hard to beat, my most carried user. What a great Combination: the 110 in S30V steel and rosewood handle, I love it! My favorite knife I have owned.

Durbin

Ditto!! Oh yeah also my EDC Tempest with 154Cm. (I will be buried with this one someday ;))

I just showered and am ready to jump into bed so I'm Buckless! But I had a Mantis clipped to me all day. I must say it's been holding up well in the sand and surf over the past week and a half while on vacation

HI!
I´m glad I logged in..where else would I get to answer such a great question about wich Buck I´m carrying ;)

Exactly at this moment I am keeping a Buck 500 "Duke" in my pocket!
No sheath came with it, it was a used knife but in great condition - got it at e-bay. I still love my 110´s but i have recently scored this 500 + a 501 and 503
at e-bay ..and as most of you know they are a bit more pocket-friendly than the larger 110´s! At least without a sheath.

By the way..
I am going to pick up another 110-auto this July, so maybe I will be having it for a user later on!? I think the Buck autos are in a league of their own!

The custom versions of the 110 are also veeery interesting! I´ve seen plenty of examples here in the Buck forums!!!

But, it´s all a question of money :grumpy:

Later!

Well, I just got up so I'm sitting here in my jockey shorts and just checked my e-mail, as well as this forum. I do have a Camillus contract 301 within easy reach. Once I get dressed, I'll have a 112FG in a custom holster on my belt, another Buck 301 Stockman in my left front pocket, and a Buck Rush 290 in the little pocket below the hammer holder on my Carhart shorts. Oh, and a Chi-Buck 373 that was given to me as a birthday present by a good friend.

I may go out without the 112 occassionally, rarely without the Rush, never without the 301!

A great knife. Sometimes I carry a buck Prince or a 301 stockman. But the Waimea is in pocket at present. Oh and I have a new Cadet LE with stag. Love that knife. I had a problem however, the sheepsfoot blade was so low that the spey blocked access to the nail-notch. I touched the tang of the sheepsfoot to my DMT stone and now it rides lower and I've got good access to the sheepsfoot blade. Very nice night and great stag, vastly better than the stag on the Cases I own. Much harder. The stag on the Case knives seems pithy and soft. I had a Case Stag muskrat one time and got caught in a rain. By the time I got home the stag was almost melting. Was easy to dent with a fingernail. Blegh! This stag on the Buck 303 seems VERY hard. Like bone. Bilrus61

The same one I've been carrying for the past couple of years...the Buck Mayo TNT. Great knife!

Buck 180 Crosslock in pants pocket since 1995. Miles and miles of use.
Buck 180 Deputy (2 blades) in pocket of my go-bag for the last two years.

I'm going to put the Crosslock out to pasture soon. He's more than earned his retirement!

Scattered on the computer table here are a Spyderco Jes Horn in ZDP189, a Spyderco Delica in VG10, and a Buck Mayo in S30V. In my pocket now and all day today is my Ranger 112 Founder's edition. It loves the stone. The others hate the stone.

We are defiantly a group of well tooled knife accumulators!!!! In my right side front pocket is a Tempest and on my right hip is a AG 110 in one of Jack's custom sheaths.

I haven't EDC'd a Buck in years, but I've got my beloved little micarta handled 503 on the desk for any odd jobs I need a knife for whilst sitting here.

Good ol' Buck 440 and sharp as a little razor.
