What Buck are you carrying - right NOW?

I have a Buck Knife with the blade stamped-- Buck 188 C USA.

I have tried to search the site using the stamped information but the site is silent on this model. It is possible the knife has another name. Any way I really like it and was trying to find another to purchase but no luck as yet. The knife is only a few years old but I get no hits on the net
Here's a post with a pic of my 1994 188\

I thank you for the info however my knife is a folding knife with a linerlock. I guess it is a forgotten knife.

Plain Jane Walmart 110, with blade that is off center and rubs the liner when closed. Just used it to cut down a sapling while weedeating. At $30, not worth sending in to get the off center thing fixed.

cheers

Today ,I am carrying my strider /buck 880 spearpoint,i carry it a lot, never really notice the size in my back pocket, and when i need heavy duty,it is there for me.

Old school...112 (next to an original PST).

I have more confidence in this combo than just about any other. I have done more with these simple straight forward tools than anything else in my collection (but the SAK Tinker is a very close third).

The model 560 is with me except on the job- a model 305 is aways with me.

I bought the model 560 folder at their store in El Cajon- but now that my son is 19 I would like to buy one for him. If anyone knows of a 560 for sale I won't quibble price [too much.]:D

Those hanging knife keepers are officially called, "Buckaroo's" by the way!!. I just love 'em, Don't you??.

I have about a dozen or so, in all different sizes.!!

Right now? I'm looking at the top of my computer monitor and sitting on it are: A watch/ an ice fishing lure/ a Kershaw folder and a freshly sharpened 110.

Today i'm gonna carry a buck 110 2 dot in mint shape, never used or carried,in original sheath......my friend in Oklahoma got it off e-bay for me after learning about my knives getting stolen, this is one sweet knife ,i'm guessing 440-c steel but not sure.
