That’s a beauty there Mak
Excellent choices! I started with a few 110 and 112 Slims then purchased a 112 Slim Pro in brown Micarta based on Makael's reviews. It's a fantastic knife that carries very well in shorts. I now have a 110 Slim Pro Plus coming in the next few weeks. This 110 slim select came in the mail yesterday and it's been in my pocket since I opened it. I bought the slim to see how I liked there ergonomics and will be buying a Pro with Micarta handles next.

What is the handle material there Mike? I'm guessing the frame is aluminum.
Looks like white Micarta or possibly G10. Same material the 30th take apart 110 offered along side the ironwood version. What is the handle material there Mike? I'm guessing the frame is aluminum.
I think it looks great. sorry on the things that didn't get done the way ya asked, thats disappointing. its still a beautiful knife with really dark and a depth to it ebony. pics came out great too, Sir.This is the 110 I was waiting for from the custom shop. Ebony, nickle and s30v. I'll start off by saying that it's constructed beautifully. Very well put together. But man I don't have great luck from the CS. These are minor nit picky things, but it is what it is. The finger grooves are really deep, even though I asked for shallow and close to standard because I've had that problem before. The blade is pretty dang narrow (a little over sharpened) and really thick behind the edge. Almost like the full flat grind Jack's from SK Blades back in the day. And the nail nick is ridiculously big. It might not bug some guys, but now it's an expensive work knife if it makes it out of the drawer. Not the best pictures...View attachment 1401082 View attachment 1401083

yes Sir. its a knife to be proud of. ya worked hard for it and its yours. should serve ya well and look good while doing the work. Thanks JB. You always have a positive outlook my friend and it's always appreciated. Like I said, not the biggest issues, but it's one of those "dang it" moments. At least I won't be afraid to put it to work. So I got that going for me![]()
I think it's beautiful as well and hope that it grows on you. I felt the same about my first Custom Shop but I wouldn't give up that 112 now for anything.I think it looks great. sorry on the things that didn't get done the way ya asked, thats disappointing. its still a beautiful knife with really dark and a depth to it ebony. pics came out great too, Sir.
