What Buck are you carrying today?

Today’s LFP carry. The difference between a Buck 110 and a 112 for me is the ability to front pocket carry the 112. I like the 110 better, but only like to carry it in the belt sheath. OH

This 110 slim select came in the mail yesterday and it's been in my pocket since I opened it. I bought the slim to see how I liked there ergonomics and will be buying a Pro with Micarta handles next.

Excellent choices! I started with a few 110 and 112 Slims then purchased a 112 Slim Pro in brown Micarta based on Makael's reviews. It's a fantastic knife that carries very well in shorts. I now have a 110 Slim Pro Plus coming in the next few weeks.

This is the 110 I was waiting for from the custom shop. Ebony, nickle and s30v. I'll start off by saying that it's constructed beautifully. Very well put together. But man I don't have great luck from the CS. These are minor nit picky things, but it is what it is. The finger grooves are really deep, even though I asked for shallow and close to standard because I've had that problem before. The blade is pretty dang narrow (a little over sharpened) and really thick behind the edge. Almost like the full flat grind Jack's from SK Blades back in the day. And the nail nick is ridiculously big. It might not bug some guys, but now it's an expensive work knife if it makes it out of the drawer. Not the best pictures...IMG_20200817_183544_compress72.jpg IMG_20200817_183205_compress41.jpg

Thanks JB. You always have a positive outlook my friend and it's always appreciated. Like I said, not the biggest issues, but it's one of those "dang it" moments. At least I won't be afraid to put it to work. So I got that going for me :thumbsup:

I think it's beautiful as well and hope that it grows on you. I felt the same about my first Custom Shop but I wouldn't give up that 112 now for anything.

Eric, that's not a grey hound, it's a black one...how many beers?:D:eek::D

Only one beer for me because . . .

looks like your dawg had a long day too.......:)

. . . Ajax got into them first! ;)

pjsjr pjsjr will tell you it was a hot one today here in Elizabeth CO and the hounds and I went to sort through some lumber out in Simla. When we got back it was late and cooler, but this is kinda what these guys do, anyway.
