What Buck are you carrying today?

Only one beer for me because . . .

. . . Ajax got into them first! ;)

pjsjr pjsjr will tell you it was a hot one today here in Elizabeth CO and the hounds and I went to sort through some lumber out in Simla. When we got back it was late and cooler, but this is kinda what these guys do, anyway.

Zieg
I was near Wiggins all day shooting flyers for dog training. Sitting next to the water, out in the sun was brutal, consumed a lot of water.
These two were with me...

20200819_065042.jpg Like any pocket carry knife i use a thumb stud for one hand opening. This BOTM 110 will definitely see carry time. Fit and finish is perfect. Buck did a great job on these. Very smooth operation, maybe Buck polished the blade were the lock bar makes contact between open and closed position. Or no polishing compound residue. Just used some of this lubricant from Tops. Feels a bit smoother yet. Non toxic.20200819_064206.jpg 20200819_064218.jpg 20200819_064246.jpg

I'm off to the VA in Gainesville today so absolutely no shieth on my belt with a 112 but I think in going to slip my slippie in ye old pocket..If a man has his pants on he should have some kind of cutting tool with him. You never know when a piece of string will need cutting. Also I don't think a 301 would bother anyone but I can just imagine all the big hunks of steel that would be displayed proudly by the Vets if they did allow knives to be carried..

What if you break down on the way to the VA during a Zombie apocalypse ?

The 112 Slim Pro, 501 and 104 are all new in the last few weeks. I couldn't decide on just one today so they're all hitching a ride.
Here's a fun fact: Manitoba is the only location in the world where you can find Black, Brown and Polar bears. Toss in the wolves, cougars, badgers, wolverines and mosquitoes the size of hatchbacks and you have a really fun place to go for a hike.

Well..I always have a 'Truck Buck' in the Fit..I think it is a 622 Reaper? For many years it was a 653 Ebay Trophy Buck (5 and change shipped with a shieth) and usually a 112 or two. More and more I find various Bucks all over the house, car, desk and Harp case..I gather up one's on my desk when it gets out of hand.

I was thinking of adding a thumbstud. That looks good.
All of 'em I have are brass. What is that, stainless?
It looks good.
I really like the thumb "disk' , it would be cool if it had that.
