What Buck are you carrying today?

Today it’s the 830 Inferno. It’s now 46 degrees, 55 degrees cooler than Sunday so thot I’d warm up with the Inferno lol. If you will notice I smoothed down the jibbing on the back lock strap. It goes in and out of my pocket much better and no hot spots when using it. I like it!

Buck 286 Bantam. Wild colors. This one going in my Bike backpack. Ive been on a dirt bike since the 8th grade. First time I'm packing equipment in case my boys or myself end up spending and unexpected night in the mountains. 20200908_211932.jpg 20200908_211944.jpg 20200908_211959.jpg 20200908_212019.jpg

Buck 303 Cadet, this one circa 1980. OH

As of 009/0007/00002020:
Standard production brass and wood 110 on belt, along with three not Buck with 1095 blades (2 born in PA, one born in Upstate NY) in RFP.

Just because I have 110's with a S30V or CPM154 blade, don't mean I can't carry and use one with a 420HC blade, correct?

I'm going out and about today but first stop will be the VA Dental to get a broken tooth pulled so no knife there at all..I think besides all the Bucks floating around the car I'll take my Club 301 since I have not found my open top shieth for the big trapper I just bought..

Good luck with the tooth.

I’m helping my son today out on the ranch. We have some corals and sorting pens to get ready so I’ll be carrying my 830 marksman and a 110 silver fox 20cv for the heavy cutting. This weekend all the kids are coming to sort off the weaning calves from the cows. I’m sure we’ll find time to kick around, target shoot, make a camp fire and roast a piece of meat.

The Smoke Jumper CPM-154 blade steel is my favorite stainless ever. I'm REALLY wanting to take out the blade on my SJ and put it in my aluminum framed 110. I do NOT like the S30v on aluminum 110! Just have to find a skilled craftsperson to do it.

Have you spoken to Mr. Hubbard about performing the blade transplants?

Smoke Jumper with S30V sounds reasonable to me.
You need to put that S30V blade somewhere, may as well give it to the Smoke Jumper that donated it's blade to the cause?
(a one of a kind, Smoke Jumper maybe?)

cool coated blade too, haven't seen that one before. what steel is it? great knife for that with lanyard setup and orange handle. have a good trip on the water.
Thank you. The knife was sold in a Special Edition gift box and I believe the blade is the same tumbled 420HC that you'll find in the Slim Selects, but I could be wrong.
