Thanks, it's a 308 Chuck Buck/ AG Russell Canoe. The bolster is not cracked, however the the stag is. I have two...long story:rolleyes: This one I carry.
Chuck and AG were friends, AG designed the knife and Chuck had it made. The knife does have both their signatures, lightly done. One blade is 154 CM, the other S30V. They came in different cover material, stag, black and white pearl, mammoth and elephant ivory.

good info. thank you, Sir. great knife. like to see another run of these come about.

Cadet 303 medium Stockman for today’s carry. This one is 40 years old now - that just doesn’t seem right! OH

My first pocket knife was a Cadet. I found it in the bushes at a campsite at Big Bend National Park when I was about 8 years old or so (40ish years ago). Dad let me keep it. He always stressed the importance of keeping it in my pocket instead of playing with it. Of course I lost it after a couple of years. Been thinking about picking up a new one.

Those 532s are beautiful knives. Can you still get those?
no not that beauty. its been a discontinued knife for awhile now.

the 532 is only avaliable in the special runs out there. currently that I've seen are about 3. c&c has a blueish one but might be gone by now...and Yellowstone has a 532 available, last I looked. I have seen a few left over out there for the remington one in green wood still. thats about it. other than secondary market. always some floating around.

If any pocketknife is the quintessential pocketknife it would have to be the Cadet 303. Perfect size for front pocket carry and tough enough for the typical small jobs a pocketknife is designed for - you won’t be sorry if you buy one. Maybe it will even trigger good old memories. OH
