Wow a Mitchell 300, my grandfather bless his soul gave me one as a child, even has inter changeable spools with containers, used the hell out of it catfishing while growing up, now it is semi-retired like me. nice knife too,i use my forum 301 for most fishing days

Today I have the first Buck knife that I ever received. It was the late 70’s and I had helped my Dad rake and haul off all of the fall leaves in our yard. He gave me a Buck 309 from the local hardware store. I carried this knife to school most days from elementary into high school until more tactical nonsense caught my eye. Now I carry it and wonder how a 40-something year old knife abused by a kid can still walk-and-talk like a new one. Buck and Camillus knew what they were doing...

Yes the handles are amazing. Whether my hands are warm or frozen, dry or wet, there is no way that knife is going to slip from my grip.
Your in Canada right.
I didn't put much thought into your inability to carry firearms into the brush.
I'd want that 891 myself if I were you.
I've had wolves follow me out of the woods one night in Michigan's Upper Penninsula...... And I had my hunting rifle. Which really isn't the weapon of choice if I needed it.

Yeah.
When I put myself in your shoes........ That 891 is awesome.
