What Buck are you carrying today?

I put a 501 in my pocket this morning, only to find it missing two hours later. Turns out that it was waiting on the bed where it slipped out while I was putting on my shoes. For a while there, I thought some lucky person might be finding a Buck knife.

That is why i have to carry a knife with a pocket clip.

Had to supplement my Sunday carry (an old Camillus Junior Cattle Knife) with something more substantial, so I grabbed my car knife and put it in my pocket too. Buck 112 drop-point. OH

Man I love the 112 with the drop point. It looks more balanced to me than the 110 does. I need to pick one up...

I'm just carrying my plain 110 today. While doing some prep work for moving.

I've been carrying it since the end of October as a challenge to myself and I'm currently trying to decide what to do next.

Used my 112 Slim Select to open my new 259 Haxby. My first carbon fibre handled knife.
Gotta say, it pretty sweet

Which is sweet? The 112 slim select or the 259 Haxby? Or both?!

I had eyeballed the slim series for a long time, but the different blade profile didn't appeal to me. After using it a little, I think it will become one of my favorite knives, especially given the reasonable price. I see the Buck 110/112 slims as Buck's answer to the also excellent Spyderco Endura/Delica.

The 112 is my work blade. Love the light weight and strong lock. I use it everyday. It replaced the Buck 450 that was in my pocket for 20yrs. I sent it in to Buck to have a new blade put on and the 112 was the result of needing a replacement while waiting for the return.
The Haxby is the sweetness! Feels like a much more expense piece. Action is butter smooth, blade play is non-existent and of course, sharp as Buck out of the box.

Speaking of sharpness, the Buck 112 Slim Select I received was not typically Buck sharp when I received it. I don't know it it left the factory on a Monday or Friday or if someone at the vendor used it for a while before reboxing and selling, but it needed a little work. It's all good now, though!
