What Buck are you carrying today?

I seem to remember someone else was able to get a blond ebony from the box store...

it was real hit and miss but some were some made on regular production models. reason I remember was I was hitting all local to me box stores lookin and found none myself, but I know one or two of the regulars here found one......course we've lost a lot of regular participants over the last couple years......

This is my first pro saw and I got it off a friend that got it new and used it little. It’s really just getting broken in. Original bar. I like it quite a lot. I’m wanting to get an Alaska mill to run on it. Mostly I’m just using it to learn about saws and enjoying cutting firewood. I do need a smaller saw for limbing though. It gets a mite heavy.
These are good all rounder saws,I use mine for everything from falling, firewood, and fencing.
For a limbing saw though,I would suggest a 346XP or similar.

I love it. It’s just right amount of power for a medium sized tree to anything else I might need. I do carpentry and occasion need a chainsaw for cutting beams or posts too. I replaced the fuel lines and drive sprocket (getting to need another now), and basically just learned all about maintenance and stuff. It’s interesting how people hotrod them. Overall I’m quite happy with it.
