Conemaugh River in Johnstown PA. It’s a beautiful area, with tons of good fishing and kayaking, even some whitewater rafting areas. If you’re ever in that area I highly recommend stopping by the river.

I love it there. We live about 40 minutes away from there.

I'm using my 110 Slim Pro TRX in the garden today, it's corn harvesting time.

Picked up this Special yesterday.
2004 vintage with a few battle scars, but nothing too bad.
Sheath is original, internal liner was busted, so replaced with custom one I made.
Reset the edge to 20 degrees per side as she was all over the place like a mad dogs breakfast.
Scary sharp and good to go!

Had to clean up the edge on this 119 today. Still a few nicks but nothing major. Finished on a 300 grit DMT, which is about perfect for meat.



This morning's hunt, giving a good flush before cutting it up the rest of the way.

A great gun, even if ammo is somewhat ... "difficult" ... to find. Least wise it was when I got my first back in '75.

Thanks Jim. We are blessed to be able to still hunt for sustenance.

It is getting more and more difficult though, as people are moving here who don't gel with the culture, as well as newly developing gov regulations.

Its a shame really, as the deer population is enormous and now causing car accidents, as well as destroying habitat.

Yup! 7.62x54R. It’s an M38 carbine, and I got it in unissued & unfired condition, all-numbers-matching. I really love it!
