What Buck are you carrying today?

I posted this over in the traditionals thread, but it fits here too. It's a warmer day which was to my benefit. I finally caught the guy living under my porch. A pretty good sized skunk.🤢😷
they say we have 2 kinds of skunks here in florida, but ive never seen one. only place I've seen a skunk or been hit by one was riding in a car in western PA.......driver hit one and dang did it stink to high heaven that whole ride....

Thankfully this one doesn't seem to be very "trigger happy" which is why I didn't think it was a skunk. We've never smelled it around the house.

thats good cause they do stink. I kinda think most arent trigger happy until they feel threatened and have no choice type deal...kinda like older pit vipers. they'll bite out of being startled or fear, but dont always inject venom. young ones I've read don't have the control or maturity that older snakes do.

When these were announced I said it was probably my dream knife as I had always wanted either a stag or elk flat grind 301. Most of you know I mentioned a few weeks ago that I hadn’t carried it until recently and it was just the past week that it actually found it’s way into my pocket without the slip. I must say while carrying it on this trip it is growing on me.
I’ll post the opposite side than I usually do.0E2C337D-2A57-44F3-90A6-DAE9A5214696.jpeg

Found my 486 today! (Yes it was the last place I looked )
I though back to the last time I had it.
That was a few weeks ago while over at my mates place mustering cattle.
I remember it rained on the last day and I had my Driza on.
So I dug out my Driza, and there it was poking out the front left pocket, just were I left it!

Ol' Faithful again today.
Used to remove the ridiculous amount of packaging for a new tin of oilskin reproofer.
Instead of binning the packaging, I mailed it back to Driza-Bone in a recycled paper envelope.
I included a note explaining that last time I bought a tin, it came in a recycled cardboard box.
