Good idea, I like beautiful stag handles on my ceremonial knives - the ones I carry for weddings, funerals, pinning, and other formal events. OHTonight for church. While I’ve been carrying it a little bit lately, tonight was the first time it was in my pocket without the leather slip.
I’ll be heading out tomorrow on a 6 day road trip to Georgia and South Carolina for a friend’s wedding. Seriously considering carrying this figure it would be a good way to knock the new off View attachment 1983971

Got Ol' Faithful with me today,(Plain Jane 110 from 1987), only because I still haven't found my 486.My good ol' 486, when I remember were I put it.![]()
Simply a good lookin' knife.
This knife is a testament to Buck's quality. 42 years of use, resharpening and daily carrying and it looks new. Does not look like any blade metal has been removed from the years of use.Today's hip carry is my trusted trail partner for the past 42 years... 1980 Buck 112 Just an all around fine knife. I must confess though, that it shares hip time with my 1995 Elk scaled Nickel Silver 112 in recent years. That, along with my 1988 Buck 303 Redbone Cadet in my front jeans pocket is about all I need to get through the day.

This 112 cleaned a lot of Channel Cats and Flatheads in its younger years. Today we'r preparing for about a 30-40 degree drop in temperature overnight, therefore the Columbia and gloves.
A person could have a 112, 105 and 307 and not need any additional knives.
Nice photo. Stay warm
