What Buck are you carrying today?

Well I didn't leave the house today and the MEGA Magancut thumb quit throbbing so it did Desk Duty cutting a few bagels and olives at lunch. My new 286 replaced numerous 112's as my new Truck Buck in the Honda Fit and lays perfectly in the cubby between the 2 front seats. I have to admit the Magancut 110 works well so far and I AM getting used to the weight compared to 112 Slims I have used the last few years. But once I have been bitten badly by any knife there's a period of probation and just a little apprehension. I think it will be worth it.

Thanks.
It's one my my favorite jackets, a pioneer wear ( made in Albuquerque New Mexico ) suede trucker jacket from the early 70's with the coolest lining I've ever seen.

It's a great quality solid piece, but like the majority of leather jackets it's not exactly intended for any major weather.
It's good down to a dry 55° day with the right layering.
On a 65° day like today it's good over a henley and thick flannel, 55°-60° I've gotta throw a wool sweater and maybe scarf into the mix.
gotcha. thanks. I dig on it. good looking quality coat.....

I really should have gone to the VA in Gainesville for a few stitches but that is a minimum of a 6 hour ordeal. My son put a great bandage on and it stopped throbbing this afternoon so I'll get a fresh bandage on Sunday and see how it looks. It really IS a sharp 110 !! The worst I ever had was slightly less than a dime sized slab off a finger tip..That hurt every single time I touched something for a entire summer.
Uffda, I feel your pain on the finger slab slicing and the pain when you touch something afterward. I took a nice clean slab out of my thumb pad right before Christmas with my freshly sharpened 442 while cutting cardboard.
