I decided to wear my Club 111 with a open top shieth today. Sometimes I miss the heft and feel of a full sized Buck and I like to have something with Elk or other fancy horn or wood. There is something about a high end knife with premium handles that just feels so right some days..
Same Lil'Jack and 301 as yesterday, but added a Smoke Jumper.
Lil'Jack and 301 in a double sheath I commissioned the local leatherwright to make a few months ago, Smoke Jumper in an all black ('cept for the Buck Logo) nylon Buck sheath.
112 with stag. It's probably the nicest Buck I have. It's got better fit and finish than a couple I got out of the CS. I think I might stick with this one for a bit. I got over my fear of carrying stag to work and I'm glad I did. The only thing that could make this one better would be nickle silver, but the brass still looks good with the amber stag
Here is the knife I'm wearing today. Barehead 501 with buffalo. Wood is scrap off a knife I did for my wife. It wasn't enough to do a full size knife and a 501 is about as small as I go.
I got a case of Buck Fever today.
So, I'm carrying my
SK Blades Lil' Jack 112 (in sash sheath)
Regular/normal brass 'n wood 110 (Nylon Buck sheath)
301 Stockman (in sash sheath)
389 Canoe. (in pocket)
My very first Buck was a Prince with Old English scrip has long been gone but today I think it's going to be a 112 Ecolite..A fantastic EDC and a mystery to me why Buck discontinued them.
Thisse here Smoke jumper rode on the belt to supplement the stockman in my watch pocket while taming the jungle that is once again my yard today.... sweet blade.
