What Buck are you carrying today?

Nice! USPS Tracking says mine will be here Monday. I hope it's as nice as all the ones I've seen posted here so far.

Took my wife to see the Eagles tribute show put on by the 7 Bridges band out of Nashville TN last night. Great concert, at times I had to remind myself I wasn't at an Eagles concert. Carried my upgraded Vantage and a Case whittler pocketknife last night. OH

“Carrying” a large pairing knife today for Sunday Dinner. Or is it lunch? Maybe dinner is supper? Or is supper lunch - or maybe that’s only on Sunday’s? I’ve lived in nine states - two of them twice - and am all kinds of mixed up.

Since we are talking weddings... My daughter got married last month and by God's grace, I couldn't have hand picked a better guy. Seriously. He's as good as they come.
His birthday is in a couple of weeks and he's a big deer hunter all of his life so I got him, of course, a Buck 110. He's also a very sentimental guy so I decided to make it a special 110. I made the arch for the wedding ceremony out of some rough cut walnut I had. (If you haven't been to weddings in the last couple of years, you'll have to look it up.) Anyways, I took a little piece of that walnut and rescaled the 110 with it. My daughter thinks he will be very pleased. I hope so too. So this is the knife I've been carrying around today.

That has been the quintessential Sunday lunch, er, dinner... meal for my whole life. My Mom for my first 24 years and then my wife for the last 33. It's obviously better carving it with the right kind of cutlery.
