  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What Buck are you carrying today?

Buck 118 did all the work preparing these spot for the cast iron. Not perfect for fileting but I much prefer it to a filet knife for the fish descaling/cutting/beheading process.

A akaMatt those are both great looking knives! I'm curious about the guitar in the background, is it a project?

bucksway bucksway you have an amazing collection! What is the handle material on the gold colored one, second from left?
Yes, it’s a spare Warmoth body that I’ve had sitting around for about a year. Picked up a few specials during last years screamin’ deals extravaganza, and actually forgot about this one till recently. Think I’ll finish it off and hope for a good deal on a neck this winter! I need another guitar about like I need another knife, but… 🤣

I've noticed that people who collect things often have similar interests. I love some "pickin and grinnin" also. I don't know much about the luthier side of it, other than basic setup, but I can appreciate a well made instrument.
