I really like the 3-3 1/4" blade, light weight clip-ons for pocket carry. For the last few months, I keep going back to the Custom Shop, and building one of those 722s in Magnacut, with carbon fiber slabs. I just never pulled the trigger. The ranger sport is under construction so I had to tag in the spitfire.
Got rid of the clip. I'm not sure about that yet... Give it a day or two without and see how it goes.

I like it as well, and have repeatedly built one with magnacut and orange g10 but just haven't been able to pull the trigger! I probably would have if the ranger sport didn't get restocked recently. There are collectors who seek out knives with advertising on them (more vintage, but just wait and they will be).Every now and then a Custom Spitfire shows up on the 'bay. I think there was a carbon fiber (but not Magnacut) a month or so ago. I picked up one a couple years ago for less than a song, and still check every now and then. (There isn't a strong re-sale market for personalized knives, so as long as you don't care about some dude's love life, or corporate holiday gift...)
Thanks John, Merry Christmas!Real nice composed pics Pat!!!![]()
