If you mean earth tones, then I guess I'm always in fashion. Tractor Supply is my fashion headquarters, so faded jeans, t-shirts, camo, etc, are about all I wear. I don't have to worry about not wearing white after Labor Day.Almost Fall, so earth times are back in fashion... Ok that's just BS, this was just next in rotation. Carry today is the Buck 841 Sprint Pro, S35VN blade, canvas micarta scales. View attachment 2962467
yeah, I did mean earth tones. That was typo on my part and I've corrected it thanks to you catching it.If you mean earth tones, then I guess I'm always in fashion. It's a cool knife. I'm usually not a fan of flippers/liner locks, but this one feels good, and I like the blade shape.Very nice. I somehow missed this BOTM, which is probably a good thing … I only have three other Sprint Ops’s and two Selects, but I probably would have pounced on this one had I seen it before it sold out. The Selects get pocketed regularly, but two of the Ops models were limited editions that can no longer be replaced, so they stay in the case and occasionally get fondled. The Sprint series is probably my favorite of all the Buck folder lines. The action and overall quality is superb, even on the cheaper ones.
I have one of those 112 slims, and like everything about it, except those huge thumb studs. I don't know why they have to be so much larger than the Slim Select models.
I agree. I always just chocked it up( probably incorrectly) to a manufacturing decision because it’s the same one used on the sport models.I have one of those 112 slims, and like everything about it, except those huge thumb studs. I wouldn't mind the size of the studs so much, if they didn't stick out so far. I'm sure I'd get used to if I carried it more often. Today's carry, though is a Slim Select.I agree. It is a 112. If I remember correctly it was a web exclusive or web special. I don’t remember the blade finish tho. Funny you say it looks jumbo. I have XL long hands tooHunterJRG,
Is that a 112? wow it looks Jumbo-sized. Never seen one in that configuration - very cool and brings the 112 into the modern age for sure. What's the blade finish? It must be a special Run I assume.
