I handled a Paradigm Shift at more than one knife shop and I really liked them. Trouble is, I have a 3 inch carry restriction in my location. Buck lists the blade length at 3.06 inches

I mean c’mon man! Give us guys with a 3 inch limit a break. Is .06 inches really that much of a necessity?!

.06 inches...... I'd carry it anyways.
A friend that was with the State Police once told me the only way your going to get into trouble for that is if your already in trouble for something else.
A knife is a tool. Never a weapon.

But don't take legal advice from my, it's just my opinion.

Wearing dress pants for the trip to the fancy restaurant today ... None of the pockets are really well suited for a pocket clip and a belt sheath is not appropriate wear for this establishment so ... We go with a "Gentleman's Pocket Knife", a Buck 382 Trapper with the ole "Bolt and Hammer" logo.
