What Buck are you carrying today?

This 112 has been on my belt the last three days.

O.B.

Case Stockman for years, then kept a 307 and then a 703 in my pocket for many years, then it was a 1960's made Case medium stockman for awhile then last Christmas wife bought me a Case Trapper that has been my front pocket since.
Wish buck would bring back a full sized Trapper.
If or when Buck brings their 3 blade Stockmen's back to the USA I will have another.

The 301 Stockman and the smaller 303 Cadet are both made in the USA. They always have been and still are. The higher 300 numbers in the series that you find cheap at box stores are China made and obviously confusing Buck customers.

true, but a full size trapper american made would be nice. I'd prefer it to be more like a hunter with a more skinner type blade over a trapper but I wont complain either way if it happens.

They really should be expanding their line of traditional knives, not eliminating. I don't crunch the numbers to see where the market is going like they do. I just want.

I hope the amount of interest the Forum knife shows Buck there are traditional customers out there.

By the way my I will be carrying my Forum knife again. It's doing the job well so far. The full flat grind and a few passes on the ceramic rod and this thing is cutting through everything with authority!

Well I did in fact get my 55 polished up. I was in the living room afterwards with it and my son caught a glimpse of it. His eyes lit up and he said "who is that for?" I of course said "Its for you!" Just when he gets older though, this little sucker is sharp and has a needle point on it. He's only 4, but he just acquired his first Buck knife.

I have about 70 knives from 10 dollars to 400 dollars, but my EDC is a Buck 484, it's light weight, sharp, and deep pocket clip.

They were nice knives. I liked them better than the bantam but I liked the bantam in their absence. Now that the 110 slim pro is out that's probably where I'll stay for a farm knife. I wish they'd make them in a brighter colors. A lot easier to find when it gets knocked or jarred loose hence the reason I miss my 484s.

I have a oddball Ebay 'trophy' Vantage I got a few years ago I'm trying today to go along with my Forum 301..Its a 340 and I can't remember anyone ever talking about one..The darn thing looked normal in the listing but it is really small..like a 2" blade! I didn't think much of it when I first got it but my son Richard carries his 347 every day and loves it so much I decided to give it a try. The Forum 301's flat grind and CMP154 is close to razor sharp and I want to keep it that way so the baby Vantage will handle what I don't want to do with the 301..

A 501 that I took a new interest in. It was my EDC 30 years ago until I asked my wife's granddad to sharpen it, he had a saw shop, bad bad idea. First thing he did was put it to a grinding wheel. I took one look when he was done then took it home and threw it in a drawer and bought a new one. Was cleaning knives last night and decided to see if I can work some of the grind marks out of the blade and get an edge on it again.
