The 301 Stockman and the smaller 303 Cadet are both made in the USA. They always have been and still are. The higher 300 numbers in the series that you find cheap at box stores are China made and obviously confusing Buck customers.Case Stockman for years, then kept a 307 and then a 703 in my pocket for many years, then it was a 1960's made Case medium stockman for awhile then last Christmas wife bought me a Case Trapper that has been my front pocket since.
Wish buck would bring back a full sized Trapper.
If or when Buck brings their 3 blade Stockmen's back to the USA I will have another.
true, but a full size trapper american made would be nice. I'd prefer it to be more like a hunter with a more skinner type blade over a trapper but I wont complain either way if it happens. The 301 Stockman and the smaller 303 Cadet are both made in the USA. They really should be expanding their line of traditional knives, not eliminating. I don't crunch the numbers to see where the market is going like they do. I have about 70 knives from 10 dollars to 400 dollars, but my EDC is a Buck 484, it's light weight, sharp, and deep pocket clip.
