  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What Buck are you carrying today?

I was traveling light today..just the BCCI 301. Did everything asked of it. The more I carry a 300 series the more I realize it does 98% of everyday tasks. Only one in a great while I wish I had a 112 or similar Buck.

My Christmas knife from last year, Buck's 898 Impact auto...it has been my EDC since that time. Preston

That is machinist ink. A type of protective coating while the blades were being handled/ worked. Later, I removed it. The reason the blades on this model
got this coating was that they would later get a silk screen ink wording and they had to be protected in preparation for this finish. DM

I've become more and more a convert to the 300 series...All my life I carried a smaller locking knife. In fact for 8 years or so the only knife I used was a 503 Prince but it was long before I collected any knife. I've found my 301 in BG42 finds it's way in my pocket just about every day.
