No way it's that simple! I mean, I believe you, but no way!C&C is always sending emails about discontinued knives they have a small batch of to offer, so I sent them an email to ask if they thought they could find one of these Rangers hiding on the back of a shelf somewhere. I was surprised when they replied that they did, and shocked when they offered it to me at the normal retail price instead of the rare, discontinued price!
Yes - I was shocked when they replied that they had one left! I sent the email thinking it was a long shot but worth the try. I never expected it to pan out. Makes you wonder what else is hiding out in their warehouse. No way it's that simple! I mean, I believe you, but no way!
I'm off to the C&C site now. I think they had a run of 102's in 5160 a while back. I'll let you know if there are any socked away.

Wood's been our primary heat source for over 50 years. I've been buying my wood, for real cheap, from a kid back the road for about 25 years. (Well, he's in his 50s now, so I guess he's not a kid anymoreI miss my wood stove.
But I don't miss the work involved.
....the splitter, chainsaws, the old truck, stacking, getting the crap scared out of you when mice go scurrying while your getting firewood off of the stack. Good times.
