What Buck are you carrying today?

New to me Range Elite. Jury’s still out on this one…
It’s dry here and the smoothness of the anodized aluminum handle coupled with my dry skin makes the knife difficult to hold and operate.
Operation is smooth, opening is easy but closing is difficult for me.
When clipping and clipped in the pocket it’s tough to get in and out.

I’m sure arthritis in my wrist and fingers is a major contributor to all this.

Yes - I was shocked when they replied that they had one left! I sent the email thinking it was a long shot but worth the try. I never expected it to pan out. Makes you wonder what else is hiding out in their warehouse.

I can’t wait to hear about the 102!
It took some searching but Copper and Clad delivered! The rep was super helpful and went above and beyond on this.

The 102 came in a box that said 2016, and the sheath looks like it has an older logo on it. I'm very excited about using these, and the 112 has been in my pocket since I got the mail yesterday.

That is simply outstanding!!! Look at that 5160 goodness!

Well it's a good looking knife.
What are your impressions of it?
Gary, I stated my impressions in post #8882 of this thread...
Since then I have cut up a bunch of cardboard and found that my arthritic hands don't tolerate that much use. Not sure if using a regular 110 or fixed blade would have made a difference. I think I just have to do everything in moderation!

Sorry.
I read that last night before I went to bed and forgot I even read it.
Sigh.

I have the elite, and it just doesn't excite me. I keep trying to carry it and always end up grabbing something else instead.

I love the blade steel, the grind and thinness of the blade.
🤔

No worries I just didn't want to type it again:rolleyes:

I like all the same features as you. For years prior(many) I carried a BM mini griptilian because Buck just didn't have what I thought would replace it. My good friend and hunting buddy gifted me a 898 Impact that I carried for a few years before I bought a 110 Slim Pro and liked it so much better. The Slim Pro has been main carry since and may continue. I am going to give the Elite some more time.

Is that the larger one or the smaller one?
