What Buck are you carrying today?

Went with the Range today. I really like this one. Easy to carry and keeps a nice sharp edge.

Happy Thanksgiving from the Gulf of America!

Since we’re traveling to Florida to have Thanksgiving with my son in his first year of college (made more sense than him spending half of his break traveling to and from Virginia), my wife packed half the kitchen into the back of the Suburban to be prepared to cook in a rental kitchen. I took the opposite approach. Granted, my kitchen responsibilities are considerably less than her contributions, but I thought about it and asked myself - what’s the ONE thing of my own I would want in a rental kitchen? The answer: a pre-date Buck 121! The flap sheath makes it easier to pack than any of our Buck kitchen knives, and it’s pretty much my favorite for any kitchen task I get called upon to perform. Tom went in the oven at 0630. :)

When we vacation by vehicle we bring a lot. My Buck 105 made the trip this year. Most places don't have good blades.
