What Buck are you carrying today?

I am also carrying the burlap sprint

I like the nick name. These things are like the red headed step child of the Buck LE family now.:D To bad, they turned out nice.
Haha, I was thinking along that line too lol. I don’t mind two tone brass and nickel when it’s symmetrical and nicely arranged and not opposing. I’m confused enough already and I don’t want a split personality flipping the knife one side to the other. Lol

I’ve been trying to use emojis but after I post reply it changes them. Is there a setting or a qualifier to enable them?

As for today I carried my usual Vantage Pro 20cv and 303 Cadet. I’ve tried the 110 slim pro in pocket but just haven’t warmed up to it yet. I’ll have to admit I’m spoiled on flippers now and sometimes find myself trying to release a 110 like a liner lock. Then trying to release a liner lock like a back lock. Maybe I do need that half and half 110.

Song birds were really adding to the experience. Here is a couple Bucks on the post, a 501 cpm154 Burlap, and 110 slim pro brown micarta. :)

I was at the Cimarron National Grasslands ne of Elkhart KS. About 5 miles east of Point of Rocks. The Santa Fe trail went though there and I was about 15 miles west of wagon bed spring nearby where Jedediah Smith was killed by Indians while scouting for water for the wagon train. Lots of history out along the Santa Fe trail Cimarron cut off .It is mostly prairie and grass except where the Cimarron cuts through and have trees and some springs along the way. It’s very nice when we’ve had good rain like this year but in times of drought it can be very desolate looking.

It's where Kansas starts to look like Colorado (or vice versa). ;)

Where I live we say, "Drive fifty miles east, stand on a soup can, and you can see Kansas." I'm a good bit west of that, but you get the idea. High plains. And it's quite green right now this year. I'll be putting the horses out on it in a couple of weeks or so once I get them acclimated to it.

Looking west from my kitchen. Sorry, forgot the knife. Later today, I promise.

As it’s often told around these parts when someone asks where we live, it’s not the edge of earth but you can see it from there. ;)
