The latter. I was reminded that I probably needed to grab them both while they're on the market, as the prices for the 50th Anniversary 110s have gone up significantly. I have those as well, but didn't want to chance that I'd want the 112s later after they're gone and be stuck paying scalper prices for them, you know? So I've ordered one of both models. They'll actually be my first 112s!
 
I'm waiting for this 1989 501 with Stag Handles. Should be arriving tomorrow.

So, I told the wife, "If I can make it thru my 2 weeks of Jury Duty without having to go in / serve, I was gonna order myself a Custom knife".

Well, I made it, and ordered an elk handled 113.
Brass bolster, s30v blade, and the distressed leather sheath.
I almost went with nickel, but I like the brass and elk look.

I like little fixed blades.

It's easy to justify spending money on a knife when you didn't lose any money doing Jury Duty.
Tho if I had been called, I probably would have bought an LT with the $25 just to be funny.

I know, It's a civil duty. and I'd have went.........
But this is more fun.
