What Buck Do You Have on Order? Or in the Mail?

I think I remember reading that Marbles forced Buck to stop making them after a few years. One of the members here probably has the full story.
SMKW purchased the rights to Marbles.
Tops did a remake of the Wood craft with SMKW' s blessing, nice knife too.

I'm not sure of the Marbles/Cabela's/Buck issue on the 914.

They're great knives.
There's some good old threads on them.

Interesting, regarding the Marbles Woodcraft.
In May 2023, I was driving through Gladstone, MI on a camping trip through the U.P.
I purposely brought my Marbles Woodcraft and Fieldcraft sheath knives along to stop by and have Marbles sharpen them.
They no longer offered to sharpen their knives (really ?) and referred me to Rapid River Knives about 10 miles up Hwy 2.
So, I stopped in and the owner shared how his Grandfather proudly worked at Marbles for many years.
Everything there has changed, all knives are made and imported from China......very disappointing all around.
Rapid River Knives is a beautiful knife shop, displays and many different knives.
The owner supports veterans, law enforcement, emt's, etc. He cleaned and sharpened both knives at no expense because I'm a Navy Veteran. .
