What Buck knife do you have on the way?

It's pretty tough to get the sheath to snap with the para-cord wrap

Very comfortable grip though.

Razor sharp out of the box :D

I had a visit from two of my cousins last Saturday from Northern California. I gave each of them a yellow handled 301 so after they left, I ordered two replacements to keep on hand in case I need a gift for someone who stops by to visit.

The 301's in any flavor seem to be a big hit with everyone that I've given one too so I have to keep a good stock of them on hand.

I have a vantage force Pro in OD green on the way. This is my first Buck knife and from the reviews and materials used I hope it turns out to be the steal that I think it is. There has to be a catch with this knife at just over $60 right? I hope not ;)

Best deal in a small US made folder with high end steel around.

Glad to hear. I made the purchase without first seeing one in person and it sounds almost too good to be true at the price point (I paid $70 for mine). Machined g10, stonewashed s30v steel with Bos heat treat, made in USA, deep carry pocket clip, forever warranty... I could see myself buying the whole Vantage Force Pro line at that price. So far, on paper at least until I use it, well done Buck.

I have the three color set x2. Both my son and I EDC the tan color one.:D

Well as of this morning a 701 off the bay. I sharpened up a friends old 701 last week and thought how sweet a knife. I own a 703. Well last night I was just browsing the bay when I seen one for 29.95 with 0 bids. This morning it was still there with 0 bids. I placed a bid and headed off to church. I really figured someone would get on there and outbid me. To my surprise I won it. It looked like it was in decent user shape in the photos so we will see when it gets here.

Glad I didn't see this. I'm slowly working on collecting 700's, and I need a 701. Actually decided to carry the 703 I picked up from the 'bay due to scratches and such on the blades. It's a tank of a knife. Lockup on all three blades is solid.
Money is tight at the moment so my wife would kill me if I bid on anything.

I've had my 703 since 1994. For many years it was my EDC.Actually been carrying it and a 309 a lot lately. Looking at my friends 701 (with one broken blade) made me think I need to start looking more into the 700 series. I actually need to maybe start focusing on a direction instead of just accumulating .Was going to start focusing on older 300s since I have a few and they were my first loves, but 700 series are so darn classy. Might have to work on both slowly.

Well the 701 came today. I'm very pleased. It looks to me like it still has a factory edge on it. Its not mint as it has some dings in the bolster that are common with carrying. Not sure if I'll post pictures today or if I'll save it for SPS.

got a micarta 500 the other day and a 317 for a user coming-should be here tomorrow

I just ordered another boning knife as I sent one of my two to my cousin t use as a kitchen/fishing knife. I'm trying the rubber handled one this time rather than get another with the paperstone handles again.

Just been fondling my new 701. It made its way into my pocket for now. From date code appears to be a 1996. What is interesting to me is the blades almost appear mirror polished. This is somewhat different from what my 703 is. My 703 is a 1994.
