What Buck knife do you have on the way?

I just scored this fillet knife (125) and according to my data sheet made by Joe Houser they only made a run of 200 of these serrated fillet knives. If any one know me, they know that I'm a fillet knife guy so this will fit in my collection like a gloove.

Buck has made some great fillet over the years, but with other companies off shore market, and out sourcing of products, the pricing of goods has made it so hard be competitive in pricing of like knives. You put a Buck next to a Rapala and they look Identical. The Rapala cost $8 and the Buck $30. Which is the Average consumer going to buy, The Rapala...

I'm trying to get a sample of every Fillet that Buck made. I have several Pre factory fillets and a great start on the factory lines, I wont collect the the chinese stuff or maybe pick it up at the very end when I have everything else just to say I have everything Buck made. Some are so ellusive that I can't find any examples, not even beater. The data sheet says they were made but I disagree.

mbjannusch, with you collecting filleting knives do you have one of the AG? If so what do you think of it? I've often looked at them online.

I do have the AG fillet, it has the dark coated S30V blade with the redwood scale handles. Its a beautiful knife. I have the counter part to the that knife that no one seems to know much about. It came out with it and the blade just says Buck USA. No model #, although it's from just a few years ago. I don't have a picture of them off hand but will thr to get some shortly. I love the AG fillet though.

Thanks JB was there a model # on the caping knife? Roger (Desotosky) knew I like fillet and he saw this caping knife on the bay and turned me on to it a few years ago. I bid on it and won, put it away and never pulled it out until now. It sure is a cool little knife, marked BUCK USA only, wonder why only just the two line stamp?
