What cold steel knives do you carry ?

Voyager Tanto large serrated. This has been my favorite folding knife for over 15 years. I love the Zytel pocket clip. I was at a gun show. This was the first tanto folder I had ever come across. I think I paid $60 for it. I own about 15 different folders, everything from SOG,Kershaw, Buck ect. This is the one I always go back to carrying.

MAN I love that blade on that handle....just needs an index finger notch and a triad lock.

I just got a Recon 1 and love the grip, but it doesn't come out of the pocket very well, or open without a flick of the wrist. Next I got the medium sized Voyager. It's too small for my large paw. Looks like I'm going back to my Rajah III.

I have a taipan strapped to the bottom of my drivers seat, and my safekeeper 2 gets some time in my daily edc rotation.

Usually a Large Voyager PE clip point (and sometimes with a medium Voyager CE clip point as a back-up):

But I've also got some L and XL Voyager Tanto's on order... can't wait to see how I like 'em..!

This bad-mother-shut-yo-mouth...

I just ordered a second one for my left pocket. I'm going to name/engrave them Truth and Reconciliation.

Simply opening one of those beasts should end someones attitude. Unless you've had one in hand, it's hard to understand how huge it really is.......... and reassuring to have in pocket at night.

For practical day to day use the four inch clip Voyager......... At night, with the potential for naughty folk, I have much larger tools. I also like the Kobun which costs next to nothing.

3 inches Voyager is the only CS that I EDC..... Rotation with the occasional Spyderco. I'm surprised how much I appreciate AUS8. I love the grip and great locking system. Blade size is great for most every day jobs.

Big knives are out for me. They attract too much attention. The simple fact that you are carrying knives can get you fined here. If one gets into any kind of confrontation, and the police find that you have a knife (wether you've taken it out or not) they are likely to accuse you of carrying a concealed weapon.
The bigger the knife, the more likely police are going to believe that your reason to carry a knife is as a weapon.
So I keep 'em small and carry discreetly.
