What current production is the quintessential Case knife?

This is one of my favourite knives. It is the right size to fit in your coin pocket when going out somewhere but you still want a knife in your pocket, the photo does not do this justice, but the white bone is devine, and it has possibly perfect F&F. I was so impressed when i opened it, and after going right over it, i can't find a fault. I got another one is smooth antique bone and it is a beautiful little knife as well. I would have one of these over a Peanut any day of the week.

The 08 is one of my favorite Case patterns and my " white smooth bone " is definitely my favorite 08.

I'm actually thinking I might get another and see what I could do to the white bone on purpose. ( this one was a happy accident )

It’s no longer in production, but I think of the Congress pattern when I think of Case. When I was a kid the brands of knives were numerous but almost every Congress I saw was a redbone Case. They were really popular.

I have always loved that knife. I remember you explaining the dyeing accident. An unintended consequence, but a good one.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Here's one next to my Texas Jack, if that gives you any sense of perspective...
I personally find the peanut knives to be smaller than I like, but I really like the size of the half-whittler....

l am right on the line between an XL and a L glove.
I just received my half whittler. It’s amazing. Perfect size and well built. Had a couple scratches on the bolsters but I can live with that. It’s a user. Thanks again guys.
