What Did You Cut with Your Buck (Yesterday or Today)?

And, thanks for bumping this thread up. :) Still wondering what year the knife in the post below was made:
http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showpost.php?p=4559327&postcount=475
well truth is - i dont know!
i got the knife several years ago {want to say in 04} and it was one of the first ~ if not #1, damascus i owned, and i prpmptly let it slip and in falling 2 inches went about 1/2" in to my leg...so i learned jest cause it is prity dont handle it like it is going to break!
naw no cutties as i diped it in the JaR to have some drops on the cut  ...
that stuff kills rats and germs and burns like mith-thigh-o-lade!!!

i belive it is one of the early custom shop knives... was a lady selling it ...
no box and no sheath...but i did not track the 'stuff' then..
perhaps 110 or Joe can offer better dates as when jig horn was first offered?

ugh as it is a "user" now... do you need a sheath?
i belive i have an 'old' extra one lay ing around ... one of thoes that rides low on the belt that i used when i still rode... [may have a road rash   on it] ... have to check:D :D

I used my trusty Buck Mayo TNT yesterday to cut the ends off a bouquet of flowers that a co-worker had bought for one of our admin support people. (This was support your admin staff week) ...
I knew you were a sensitive guy Mike  ;)

Dave...after reading your post here, I am reminded that it was a sentimental knife for you.
It will have the OAB removed and the knife will be put on my tiny display shelf as a reminder of my Buck Brother, Decaf.
The only thing it has cut, with me, is about ten slices of salami for me and the Beagle Patrol. :)

Your post and Mike's got me all poodle eyed...

sniff sniff
have we all come in touch with our senstive side ?
is it a result of the buck addation or a simption of the addation?
sniff
are Beagle's the prefured dog of senstive buck owners?
sniff & wipe tear
did most of ride a scooter some time ?
sniff
what has become of us!!!
blow nose and buck ing up...
life it goes on!

[ HAY ~how thin & slick did it cut that salami ? ]

Hey Decaf...
That 110 Damascus cut the salami like butter and quite thin. I was actually quite pleasantly surprised.

Mav, it is such a bummer that you can't wear that Rosie Dorado around the village. What a drag. Hey, but you got haggis. What could be better than that?

Plastic ties off new dog leash and my finger. All in the same motion.

Yep. Stag handled 110 from Cabela's Akaskan guide series. Nice little chunck ou tof thumb. But I know its sharp. Just have to remember to keep the fingers out of the way.

Open a box with a new window A/C in it. And I didnt get my finger this time with the stag 110.

I cut myself..... AGAIN!!!!
That makes 3 wounds from the 889.
I've never cut myself so many times with one knife.

Four slices of bologna...gotta slit 'em at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock so they don't curl up when ya fry them.
Great sandwich with Wonder bread and Miracle Whip.
