What did you do while waitin' for your RAT Knife?

I just ordered my first Rat Izula today as well (from Knifeworks). I shipped it 2nd day air cause I knew I wouldn't be able to handle it if it didn't make it by the weekend. Now I have to try and make it two days without also ordering a HEST!

6 machetes? That's not bad.

What's bad is when you're drunk on the Busse website.

Since they take orders for a while before even producing the knives, you don't get a CC/debit charge until yours go out.

So, you think you had a nice, drunk, buying spree-free night, and WHAM! Three months later you get a notice from the bank that your checking account is overdrawn by $3000, your savings account is now empty, and next to it is a notice to go pick up a 12 pound box from Busse Combat.

"Oh Christ, not again. . ."
 
I purchased my Izula from a member of BF. It's at my house waiting for me to get home at the end of the work week. I'm out of town, and it's been a long week so far. So basically I'm just working, trying to concentrate.
 
While I am waiting for my RC-4 and Izula, I got the urge to modify one of my Kukri machetes.
And came up with this. A scary sharp 13" Frankenstein.:eek:

Surprisingly its very good. It whacks like crazy, and holds an edge very well.
This is the knife I keep in my truck all the time. If someone steals it, oh well it was only $20 bucks and a couple hours of work.
It's just nice to know I did all that though!
 
Well I waited as long as I could, I couldn't take it so I cancelled my order with one dealer for the Izula and placed it with another, so far so good, no mention of Back order and I should have it by the weekend.

I know the other company will email me in the mornin' that my order is complete and ready to ship. :rolleyes:
 
While Im waiting for my Desert Dogfather I bought a RC 5. While Im waiting for my DDF and RC 5 I bought an RC 3, RC 4, and RC 6. . .
 
I got the DDF so it should hold me over until the RC 5 shows up tomorrow. I will be getting an Izula for Christmas and the H.E.S.T sometime. Definately the RC 10 when its released.
