What did you do with Kershaw/ZT/Shun today?

My 0560 was on full time today. Cut up several large boxes, stripped some wire, pried some ceiling tile back into place, open several packages of various items, drilled some holes in some paneling to help start some screws, and then cleaned my fingernails. It was a good day.

Cleaned and ate my first trout! Nice lil 7 incher from Cleveland, SC.

I sharpened a few of mine up. Small Junkyard Dog, and Piston. Gonna carry the Echelon.

Used my Skyline to scrape some bubblegum off a box. That reminds me, I need to go wash it.

My Shuns and I have been cooking up a Mother's Day dinner. Including cutting up chicken, onions, celery, and peppers for the Chicken Spaghetti, Smoked sausage for the Lasagna, and various other veggies for the salad. I really like my Shuns.

Today my Outcast and I waged war on an old water hose. The Outcast prevailed and the hose is now at the bottom of the trash can in pieces.

I really like all the kershaw, zt, and kai offerings and do my best to support them when possible. I was planing on getting the kershaw camp axe 1018. Anyone have one, along with work pics?

Cut open the packaging on new locks for house and carved out the mortise for the strikes with my ZT350. (Landlord was burglarized and my house/shop keys were stolen)

Looks good, care to share the recipe?

I didn't know Kershaw had a camp axe. Reviews on Amazon are pretty positive if you're looking for a small portable hatchet.

Yeah i was looking for one for the fireplace/ pit. I really like kershaw/zt/kai and the way they do business so I buy them and recommend them when possible. The cowboy porkchops are really easy and pretty quick.

Put a couple tablespoons of oil in your pan and get it heating up. I use a pack of spanish rice and start that at the same time. once you have those going, start slicing a handfull of mushrooms and peel and mince a few cloves of garlic. (use as much of these two as you like, i use almost a whole bulb of garlic and half a container of mushrooms for 4 chops.) throw your chops in the pan to sautee them with a few dashes of pepper and salt about 6 minutes on each side. Set them aside and throw the shrooms in the same pan and sautee till they are almost done then throw in the minced garlic only for about a minute. Your rice should be done so plate that then the chop then the mushrooms and garlic on top. I also put monterey jack on top to melt and a few french fried onions over that. Whole process is about 20 mins tops and is really tasty! don't forget the customary beer!

Just a little bit ago I used my Shun...

To make this...

2 Slices of thick Italian bread toasted
2 tomatoes diced
3 slices of bacon diced

Put the tomatoes and bacon on the toast, drizzle with olive oil, cover in cottage cheese, and salt and pepper. It's a great summer time lunch.

 I shipped a beautiful, just purchased last week, S30V Blur back to Kershaw.

The thumb stud was mounted 80% to one side and the liner lock barely engaged the bottom of the blade.

I used my 8" Shun Classic Chef's knife to slice up dinner and my Shun classic utility knife to open a box with my new Ontario Kukri in it last night!

Best thing you can use a knife for, is to open a box that contains yet another new knife!

On Thursday, I'll use my Ontario Kukri to open my new Himalayan Imports 18" WWII kukri!
