What did you get at Blade Show?

Well, I have to admit I spent the most money that I've ever spent at the blade show this year.

Check out this 8 bladed beauty...

Sigh... yeah I know I just don't seem to ever purchase a knife at the bladeshow. I keep trying. I had targeted a couple of knives this year including the Medford Swiss Army Knife and a Benchmade Adamas folder. Unfortunately neither was what I expected in hand... and so once again no knife was purchased.

Does that come with a safety-string… so it doesn’t get lost?

Robert "Bob" Brothers was the makers name, but sadly information is extremely scarce on the internet...Matt Diskin said he knew him when I ran into him today so I'm gonna try to get whatever I can out of him.
 
I also found a big Larry Chew Covert D/A Spitfire (or maybe a Cujo) in ironwood to match my small, of course I didn't even take a picture before the dealer packed it up to ship it🤦‍♂️🤣
 
I went this year with no intention of getting any other knives but two orders

the first was a HIRA ZUKURI O-Tanto from David Mirabile that is a incredible piece and seems to defy physics

it looks very traditional but it ain’t :) this carbon fiber and carbon 13 inch carbon steel blade is a demon

This piece was a great honor. Sam Lurquin MS made 4 of these War Dogs to be modeled for two production runs. Here is my knife number 00.




00 was also the Knife used for the cover of this years Blade Magazine edition




I also received one of the first prouduction runs which is a scaled down version done by Edition G and built by Reate

That Williams designed Winkler looks fantastic.

Mission accomplished! Buncha cpks and other randomness. RmJ thumper was a freebie via challenge coin scavenger hunt. Actually got 3 but gave two away. Busse didnt go but was still able to score two monsters! Great time and the weather was reasonable. Not too hot or muggy 👍
