Mission accomplished! RmJ thumper was a freebie via challenge coin scavenger hunt. Actually got 3 but gave two away. Busse didnt go but was still able to score two monsters! Great time and the weather was reasonable. Not too hot or muggy 👍
What a score if one of the little ones needs a new home let me know.

I picked up these two:

And wanted this one, but they weren't selling:

Entirely too many pics, so I just created a pic dump:

The show was absolutely phenomenal this year. I got to meet several folks I'd not had a chance to speak with in person before, and everyone was just really cool.

Some luminaries like:

- Bob Dozier(!!!) - I got to speak with him for like 45 minutes, and he showed me his new backlock prototype. People just walking by this absolute legend's table, insane.
- Ethan Becker(!!!!!!) - Bought a couple BK40s so he'd sign one of them!
- Eugene and his father Ilya (my first stop, had to buy the show prototypes!!!)
- Les George - A lot younger than I expected, but great guy though!
- Brad Larkin (Bradford Knives) - Brad and his wife Nicole are two of the absolutely nicest folks possible and their Magnacut knives are fantastic
- Rick Hinderer - Hell yeah, his table was packed pretty much the entire show. Much more so than reblade Mom's house kid. LOL
- Brian Griffin - Great finally getting to meet him in person.
- David C. Anderson from Knifecenter (he's as nice in person as he is in his videos)
- the guys from Vanquest
- the guys from Worksharp

Several others I'm blanking on at the moment. Simply the best time.

You sure scored some beautiful blades and to have a chance to talk with the makers a true experience. That Les George is my favorite though.🥰

I had a good show

So jealous, poor boi couldn't go...

Maybe next year. I had planned on it, but the cost to travel + what I spent on knives egad I'd be in a heap of trouble. Might as well throw me headfirst into quick sand and try to swim my way out.

Thanks. I was looking for Sebenzas and there wasn’t many to be found. It was around 2 pm before I really spent any money. That one really grabbed me. Got a nice matching lanyard on it today.

I think you are like me. The blade show is as much about the people as it is about the knives.

Nice pick-ups!!!

Thank you, sir! It was a tremendous show this year, everything I'd hoped it would be, honestly.

I think you are like me. The blade show is as much about the people as it is about the knives.

Absolutely. It was a joy seeing all these folks you see on IG, or Youtube, or getting to meet the makers of the knives you've loved for years in person.

How do folks get all the blades back home if you flew in? I don’t trust checked luggage

A good friend and I drove, and so we "muled" knives home and shipped them out for some of my other good friends posting in here. Easy peasy!

Yessir, I just happened on his table while I was waiting for WValtakis WValtakis who was right around the corner at the Tuch Knives table. I was like "LES GEORGE!:eek:  "and he turned around, we got to talking, and whelp, then that happened. He's a really nice gentleman in person, as well.
