Let's see your loot from the last Gathering! Between all the knives, gear, and random accoutrement there, quite a few people made off with some awesome stuff. Let's see it!

For those who don't know, last Gathering Erik gave me a knife I had been drooling over all weekend and made me speechless. Being one to not let such a slight go unpunished, I set out to achieve a reckoning. With the help of our dear T.M. Hunt and Murph, as well as our premiere leather bender Goose over at Sagewood Gear, I think I managed to retaliate accordingly. Todd and Murph rehandled the knife (originally an 18" Ontario Military Machete) and Goose whipped up one heck of a sheath. Seriously people, if you are after some quality leather work, Goose is your guy. If you need something crazy done with a knife, Todd can make it happen. Here's the pics.

So, that said, let's see what you got you hooligans! I know Tackett had quite a few pretty blades he parted ways with.
 
I'm going to post mine before the Col sees this and blows out the thread.


Our haul wasn't bad though... Two Maguas, a BK-17 (as you can see already wearing the Fal'er scales and getting some love) and a Tackett bushcrafter.

Awesome pair of Maguas! When Titus recovers from Blade, I'm getting my order in.

That's a great Haul Trade! It will be tomorrow at least before I can do pics - we have out of town guests about to arrive. Good thread!

The Tackett is the one in the middle I guess? Very nice looking.

I have a feeling Mr. Tackett is not far from becoming a major name in the knife world.

A bunch of Canadian(from Gus) beer that's long since been disposed of, a Tackett blade(don't know the model) and a kickass under hammock from dear Mr. Tradewater.
 
I only got the one BK-2. I eyeballed a Tackett bushcrafter pretty hard, but Ethan traded him out of it before I could buy it.

Damn! I should have brought more beer. Ok, what else do I need to do to get an Magua? And get your mind out of the gutter!:eek:
 
Uhh. I can explain the Maguas. Psy ordered one some time ago. He wanted a curly maple one. You guys all know I'm trying to build stock for blade. I had 3 maguas in curly maple. Not knowing which one he wanted I took all 3 so he could choose. A couple weeks before the gathering. Trade told me he planned on buying one from me at blade. Since I had them at the gathering, he just went ahead and picked it up then. When he showed it to his wife, she liked it so much he bought the last one for her. Couldn't likely tell him no now could I? I only took 1 Yuma oppossed to 5 in the fall. The Col. Purchased it. He is a repeat customer and a great man. Wouldn't of been repectable to tell him no. Trying to keep everyone happy is a hard thing to do. ;) they will be available again very soon. I do appreciate your guys support and patience.

Todd, RELAX! I assumed it was something like what you just described! Really, I actually respect how you agonize over these issues, and it only makes Christine and me more proud of owning some of you fine handiwork.
