I know everybody gets those people who when they see you with a knife they ask "What could you possibly need that for"

Lets answer them, what did you use your knife for?

Dosn't matter if it's a old timey slipjoint or a modern tactical folder.

and picture are double points :D

i opened four boxes of brake rotors, two packages of brake pads, one bag of floor mats, a couple packets of crystal light, gently pried at some interior trim, and ALMOST used it at dinner to cut up some pork.

CRKT small crawford/kasper pro.

I cut up some boxes and used my Cold Steel Bushman to stab a bunch of old video tapes and DVDs, rendering them useless to the dumpster divers.

used my BK2 to chop out fatwood, chop chicken and spuds. Used my Emerson Super Commander to slice open boxes, slice bread, butter it and slice cheese.

I used my D/E waved Police to trim the filters on some Nat Sherman lights.

Used my RC6 to cut some flower stems down to size to fit in the vase for my Fiance's valentine's day present. :)

I tried out my Busse BWM. I battoned and chopped up some driftwood. It worked really well :thumbup:

As for my edc I had my Yuna eqII. I used it to cut a bagel, a tomato and a red pepper. I also used it to scrap some of the wood splinter out of the coating of my BWM :). I also trimmed my nails a bit today with it. Oh and I cut up an apple for my nephew. Probably used it some more throughout the day but thats all I can think of for now

The last thing I did with a knife today was open a box that had just arrived with a new knife in it. That has to be one of the top specific reasons for needing a knife, gotta open that next box with the new knife in it!

Besides opening mail and a couple of packages, I cut a hole in a box the shape of Spongebob's mouth so my son could get his Valentine candy out.

I used my Endura 4 to open the packaging my wife's valentines present came in, to open my mail, slice cheese and tomato for my turkey sandwich for lunch, and then opened and closed it for like 30 minutes because its brand new:D

I used my S90V Military to cut out about 30 square feet of damaged sheetrock wallboard and ceiling board after using it to peel off 50 feet of cove base. Just a routine day on the job. Why do you ask? :D

Benchmade Griptilian to cut out styrofoam 6" squares that are 2" thick, glue them together, and then shape them into a ball. Don't ask, kids school project.... They needed styrofoam balls 6" diameter, and I have no idea where to buy something like that, so I made them myself, with stuff I had in the garage.

I cut out some plastic spacers for my pipe, the stem threads and the mouth piece wasn't aligning with the bowl, so I cut a couple holes and shaved the excess flush. My pipe now aligns perfectly.

Did it with my BM 720.

Cut open some boxes and bags while cooking (CRKT/Folts Minimalist), cut off plastic wrap from a sandwich for lunch (GEC Cuban), fixed a loose cabinet door (Gerber multitool).

Kershaw Leek... Opened the mail, opened a fedex package, cut a cigar, and trimmed a big gulp cup down to make a cat food bowl. Recycling, baby!

Used my Leatherman S2 to put Barbie's head back on for my 4yr old, the pliers were just the right size :D
