What did you use your knife for today?

I used my Emerson Commander this afternoon to make feathersticks for a fire.

What did you do with your knife?
(Pictures would be nice)

Cleaned some squirrels, sorry no pics. I wish I was with your knife in Vegas ;)

Today? Opened the mail with my Sebenza and cleaned some dog poop out of the cleats in my boots with my Griptilian.

split some foam with my Spyderco UKPK to pad some stuff. Funny thing is my boss grabbed it and cut some too, I felt a bit weird about her using my knife :)

Broke down a few dozen cardboard boxes to help out some guys that recycle cardboard at work. Spyderco Military in CTS-XHP.

I used mine to cut the steak I had for breakfast , to open the mail , to cut some string and rope while helping my daughter building her tent in the back yard to play camping with her dolls , used it to cut the chicken I had for lunch , to make a fuzz stick just because ... thats about it so far , I plan to use it to eat the steak Im gunna have for tea tonight , to open a carton holding a new computer I just bought , and probably to prune up the branch that keeps trying to poke my eyes when I step onto our verandah .

Technically it was yesterday, but I used my Himalayan Imports M43 Khukuri to chop down a tree (Its the larger of the two in the pic). If you want to get technical, I used the smaller one today to open a priority mail box (Its a Khukuri House Thamel WWII Improved).

Today they just looked good in my pocket. They were their if I needed them. I watched a guy clean up some boxes by cutting the lids of with a 12 inch dull chef knife. I just smiled, at least he wasn't ripping them off with his hands.

I made a sheath for the tanto on top. Both these knives are shipping out tomorrow to meet their owners.

Before that, I made this sheath for my first balisong (proto).

Somehow, it's very gratifying to split the skin of an orange top to bottom several times with your knife.

I used my Rough Rider Barlow to cut open the box for my new Case Chestnut Bone CV Sway Back Jack, with Bobus X engraved on the blade. Very happy with my new purchase.

Used my Ritter Mini-grip to fashion a hook stick to clean a clog out of my carpet shampooer at home.

Haven't been out to the work site yet this morning, but yesterday I used my Spyderco GB to trim the edges on some painted sheetrock to make some door molding fit better; used it to score some shims so they could be broken cleanly; used it most of the day to mark lumber for cutting to length.
