  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What did you use your SAK for today?

As with most days I popped the bonnet on my tractor with the bottle opener. Today I used my Spartan Economy

I used my Minichamp as "dividers" or "compass" to check the accuracy of students' compass-and-straightedge constructions on a geometry test I was grading. I deployed the ink pen, and then used the nail file blade, open to varying degrees, as the other "arm" of my compass. (My "real" compass is apparently in my office, instead of being kept in my backpack so I can use it wherever I am.) Never thought I'd use the Minichamp this way, but it worked like a champ! ;)

Had maintenance class yesterday. Beyween that and work the night before, My classic opened stripped/cut wire(16 and 20 gauge), wired up two plugs, cut some 3/4" air hose, opened cardboard boxes, and skinned a roll of ink ribbon off a broken spool. Then in a test of pure endurance, cleaned the grease out from under my fingernails. 10 seconds on my pocket hone, and he was ready to rock and roll again.
